Eating out 101


Inspired by a loved one! I was out to dinner with some very important people in my life and I was taken back by the way one of them ordered, “ I will take the shrimp appetizer, then for dinner I would like a side salad, dressing on the side, and your steamed vegetables” then when dinner was over “ I will take the cheese cake!” As the rest of us lay there moaning because we ate to much of a regular dinner and can’t possible order what we really like because we ate what the menu said to. Yet the thinnest one at the table is the only one having dessert! She had a well balanced dinner and felt great! So the lesson is…. #1 Every time you put something in your mouth ask yourself …. Do I really want it and do I need it? #2 order like the thinnest person at the table! Like Meg Ryan in When Harry met Sally. These are tips I can use for the rest of my life and not feel deprived.
