Breakfast Idea #1

Bread! Bread matters! Pick great tasting bread. It should be about quality because it can’t be about quantity. Bread is not bad. Like everything else it is moderation. Limit your bread intake and make it the first half of the these are easy baby steps to eating healthy. Open faced sandwiches are an awesome way to do that.

Miltons Multi-Grain Plus Bread. (Costco is the least expensive)
Yes it does have 120 calories a slice. But it has 4g fiber and 5g protein and remember 1 slice.

Breakfast idea

1 Slice Miltons Multi-Grain Plus Bread 120 cal

1 teaspoon Mayo 33 cal

2 oz Sliced Turkey 65 cal

2 oz Raw Tomato slices 12 cal

1 8 oz Cup of Coffee 6 cal.
= 236 calories for breakfast.

Add a piece of fruit for balance. Remember your first meal should be your biggest! That’s a great meal!

Also use your favorite dishes or eat in your favorite spot so it seems like a treat, not like your missing something!

If you’re watching your calories, diet bread can be down to 40 calories, making your breakfast 156 calories. I think the nutritional benefits are off. You seem to need the fiber and proteins to get the metabolism going in the morning. I say save the tasteless diet bread for your afternoons! This is a choice to make based on a quality life style change.
